Game Review: Blackops 2

Ok this game I was really excited for. I enjoy the Call if Dutys as they are some pretty fun games with friends. So after beating the campaign, raging online and killing hordes of zombies im gonna right this review in 3 parts.


Campaign: Easily the most ambitious one EVER. I really like the firection and choices your given. Nice job Treyarch. 8/10


Multiplater: This is the reason you buy these games. Oh but what a dissapointment! Where do I start? Poor hit detection, weak guns, horrendous spawns, constant UAV spam. Its just terrible. I cant go into a game without just knoeing i will get thrashed. I NEVER had this problem in previos games. I feel like everything is bubblewrapped and is easily countered, which is good but is also kind of irritating. I hope Treyarch fixes these issue fast! 6.5/10




Zombies: This is why I bought the game. Its nothing short of AMAZING. Tranzit mode is just awesome. So much to do yet you are never actually told to do anything instead survive. Its crazy fun with friends running around trying to grab peices of an item or running from the hordes. I know people dont like the individual survival but Tranzit easily makes up for this.

Now my issues : Ranking system. How does it work? And why am i deranked if i dont play a day? Please remove that! Then fix it when a player rages, it still counts to the leaderboards if you continue. So many times ive gotten to round 40 only for someone to leave and it doesnt count! Frustrating.

Game Review: Assasins Creed 3

So non 40K but Ill still talk about it. About a month ago I picked this gane up along witg the PS3 bundle. I finally finished it Sunday and I thought id let you know what i thought.

So for starters the storyline is excellent as expected. The graphics are nice as well. The combat is very fluid and engaging. This is deffinarely an improvement over its predecessors.


Now here is what I didnt like: Being bored. Yes thats right. You CAN get bored playing this gamr and wuute easily. The problem is it takes good 3-4 hours until you play as the Fully assasin Conor. Playing as his father was alright but got tedious. Playing as Connors youth became boring quickly. Eventually i found my self trying to pick fights just to be entertained. The game is very long and it can be a little boring doing the story missions with nothing in between.


So despite this I enjoyed the game. The combat and storyline made it enjoyable. But a lack of "real" side quests was dissapointing.


So i give it 8.7/10

Excitement for Blackops 2

Well hello everyone. I havent been posting much and I apoligize. So for those that dont know...i LOVE video games and try and stay current in them. One that is really exciting me is Blackops2.


I didnt care for the first one, personally. I liked the zombies. And uts tge same for Bo2. I will probably end up getting to the 10th prestige but ZOMBIES! It just lloks awesome. Im really excited for that. The concept looks really cool and some of my good friends love it too. So yeah ZOMBIES!

Necrons at Tournament- by JD

Hello all. So today I had a tournament at a LGS about an hour away. It was very fun. I had only gone about twice but decided to join the Tournament to test some water. So there were was a total of 16 playets. Since there were only 6 tables, we had one team sit out round 1, but would get an automatic 7 VP. Winning netted 5 points. Secondary Obejectives were 1 while the "wild card" objectives were worth 2. Each game was 1750 points btw.

I managed to take 1st place shockingly. My opponents were as follows.

Game 1: Orks. Didnt have a flyer but had an aegis defence line. Very foot slogging. Luckily had brought lots of tesla so that hurt.



Game 2: Guard Mecg Spam. He had 3 Valkyries with Stormtroopers in them. He also had 2 leamn russ punishers , 2 Basiliks, and some chimera vets. Was tough but but letting me go 1st and getting my reserves faster to destroy his artillery and 1 of his punishers was a big boon. The game was annihilation so i manged to pull out some ahead, destroying his hovering valkyries.

Game 3: Dark Eldar- He brought the pirate ships. He had 10 raiders, filled witg kabalites. Interstingly enough he also chose a bastion with a lascannin. The game was the Relic. It was VERY close with him taking it turn 2. I manged to chase his kabalite squad with my barge lord who slaughtered 8 kabalites in one turn. I then proceeded to take the relic turn 6 and held it to the end.

Game 4: This was the final- Daemons of Nurgle with CSM allies, also had lots of nurgle. The game objective was ( the empirers will? I forget now) but only 2 obhectives. He left his Nurgle CSm to guard the objective whilr his daemins would strike in. But he rolled for the wrong half and lost his sould grinder ti scatter. I sent my ground warriors to fight the plauge daemons, while i heaced my scythes at his ibjectives. That was tge turning point. I destroyed his forgefiend with the tesla destructor and warriors managed to slay some plauge marines. He botched his charge roll the next turn.
My doomscythe annihilated the rest if the playfe marines whilr tge 2nd scythe dropped its cargo into tge bug battle in the center.

In the end i took the victory in that game and overall. I would like to thank my opponents for a wonderful time. I will be posting my list sime time today or tomorrow.
